All participants in the auction shall abide by these Terms of Participation. The Company reserves the right to change the Terms of Participation as necessary.
Article 1 Eligibility
Applicants who have paid the prescribed deposit to the designated bank account after consultation with SOGO Corporation Co., Ltd. prior to the auction may participate in the SOGO Auction. No deposit is required for parade auction members. Auction members are eligible for membership if they meet the following conditions
a. Have done business with SOGO Corporation Company in the past, and
b. A domestic or foreign vendor approved by SOGO Corporation Co.
Article 2 Warranty and Indemnity
When bidding, we ask you to refer to the photos and inspection forms, but as a rule, we ask you to inspect the items yourself at each site indicated in the list. If you do not know how to get to the site, please contact us by phone or e-mail. Exhibited products will be delivered to the successful bidder in their current condition, and we do not guarantee the quality of the exhibited products. Therefore, we do not accept any claims from participants regarding the products. In addition, the Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the passage of time or climatic changes after the auction.
In addition, we shall not be held responsible for any system malfunction that may occur during an Internet auction.
Article 3 Bidding Method
Bids can only be accepted using the bidding method specified by our company. Please note that each auction has its own different bidding methods. All transactions of the exhibited items will be conducted in Japanese yen. Consumption tax is not included in the listed prices.
Please note that we may suspend the bidding function for certain members at our discretion during Internet auctions.
Article 4 Conditions of Bidding
At the end of the auction, the participant who bid the highest price for the exhibited item will be the successful bidder. The winning bidder will receive the results of the auction from us.
Article 5 Payment
We will fax you an invoice after the auction. Please transfer the money to the bank account designated by us within one week from the last day of the auction. Cancellation of bids after the auction is completed will not be accepted for any reason. If payment of the purchase price cannot be confirmed by the payment deadline, a 20% penalty will be imposed.
Article 6 Delivery
The items can be delivered after the full payment of the purchase price is confirmed. Winning bids must be picked up from each venue within the specified period. If there is a delay in pickup, a storage fee will be charged according to the number of days.
Article 7 Governing Law
These Terms of Participation and the Purchase Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Article 8 Consultation
In the event that any question arises regarding the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions or any matter not stipulated in the Terms and Conditions, SOGO Corporation Company and the Participant shall consult and resolve such question.
